A stunning and vibrant piece of jewelry, this authentically styled Roman torc is constructed from four coiled strands of twisted polished brass. Featuring intricately detailed dragon designs on the end sections, the torc is sized to fit nicely around most necks, making it ideal for any wearer. Also sometimes spelled torq or torque, torcs were large, usually rigid, neck rings typically made from strands of metal twisted together. Though most often open-ended at the front, many were designed for near-permanent wear and were very difficult to remove.
