Keeping with the traditional design that is characterized by a visor that covers the entire face with a protruding nozzle to resemble a hound's face, this piece features 18 gauge steel construction with a blackened interior and cotton suspension liner. It is highlighted by a removable visor held in place with retaining pins. It also allows for attachment of a chainmail aventail with steel pins and drilled holes. Great for costumes and re-enactments.
