Description
A gorget originally was a steel collar designed to protect the throat. It was a feature of older types of plate armor and intended to protect against swords and other non-projectile weapons. Later, particularly from the 18th century onwards, the gorget became primarily ornamental, serving only as a symbolic accessory on military uniforms. Made from 18 gauge steel this two piece set is meant for light sparing and training. Hand forged with immaculate detailing this high quality set comes complete with leather straps. You can wear it with a curiass or just mail.
