Background of Loki

Loki is the God of Mischief in many Marvel comic book series and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the God of Mischief, Loki is constantly deceiving others and formulating schemes that allow him to obtain the power and respect he truly deserves. A crafty genius, Loki uses his magic to create illusions of himself and the area around him, using this to repeatedly outsmart his opponents.

Loki wields his Sceptre, a long spear-like weapon with platinum blades, encasing a blue gem that contains the powerful Mind Stone. Loki uses the Sceptre to command the Chitauri army and fight against the Avengers (Earth's mightiest heroes), in order to fulfill his grand conquest of ruling Earth.
