A slouchy knit tote with an open mesh upper and a tighter solid weave on the lower half, so what you are carrying does not show through the bottom. The strap is cut as part of the bag rather than attached, and sits over one shoulder. It folds down to almost nothing in a suitcase and opens up big enough for a towel, a book and a water bottle.
